This is Donegal Yoga Retreat's first 'On Tour' offering and we are very excited to announce this one day mini-retreat which will run from 11am-5pm at the Tory Bush Cottages, Bryansford, Co. Down. The venue is situated right beside the stunning Tollymore National Park. The day will involve a deep dive into some nourishing yoga with a mix of invigorating but holistic core building and more gentle practices to soothe the nervous system and reboot the immune system.
We are implementing 'Bubble Booking' to help reduce risk during the ongoing Covid-19 situation. Places will be limited during this time, but this measure incentivizes the coming together of safe friend groups by offering group discounts. INFO HERE
Other Covid measures: Our Gweedore workshops will be hosted by Flash Recovery Lounge who are implementing steam sanitization.
All equipment is provided, and shared sanitizing supplies will also be made available. During the Covid crisis risks are diminished however if you can please BYO sanitizing gel, water, mask, mat , blanket etc. A pillowcase is also recommended to cover bolsters.
Comhcheol is delighted to be coordinating for First Fortnight on a regional basis for the 2021 festival. This comes on the heels of running 4 successful events in January 2020 and having brought the festival to Co. Donegal for the first time in 2019.
2020 highlights included John Connors' hard-hitting drama piece, Ireland's Call, which featured a remarkably open and interactive post-show discussion. A specially commissioned school's 'Beoga Wellbeing
Stage Show' was also staged in the Balor, Ballybofey on Jan 9th. In the west of
the county, a Healthy Ireland workshop ran in Gweedore
library on Jan 8th and a film screening of 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's
Nest' on the bigscreen in the Amharclann on the 4th of Jan. MORE FF2020 DETAILS HERE

The third annual Errigal Retreat at Errigal Hostel in Dunlewey was a great success with fabulous feedback coming in. As well as the gentle, restorative and accessible yoga, and bliss relaxations, this year's offering included 2 different wellbeing workshops, a Creative Wellbeing Workshop, which was a playful ice-breaker and also a Morning Pages, habit-hacking workshop that gave some roadmaps towards personal transformation. Our veggie food also got lots of praise, and although storm Denis kept us off Errigal Mountain, you can bet we will conquer that summit again! Maria speaking and teaching yoga at the Lets Talk Autism Conference at Jackson's Hotel in 2018. Having taught as a music teacher in St.Paul's Special School Beaumont, and also worked with children there to develop the Body Response System (interactive digital art work), informed by this and her yoga teaching
she has a huge interest in arts and movement interventions for autism.
