Devote some precious time to self-care, Fridays @ 8pm, Cois Locha Wellbeing Hub, Dungloe.
This class involves long, meditative poses, and  (depending on participant's experience levels ) the class will involve less spoken instructions in order to carve out some lovely nourishing silence.... The closing relaxation uses healing Solfeggio frequencies but is 'unguided' by the teacher to return us again to silence and allow a  journey to the space within....

"Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time-for beginners, it may range from 45 seconds to two minutes; more advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for five minutes or more.

Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body-the tendons, fascia, and ligaments-with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality." (wikipedia)

"Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. If you take a restorative class, you may hardly move at all, doing just a few postures in the course of an hour. It is a completely different experience than most contemporary yoga." (Verywell Fit)

(The class is likely to include gentle 'yang', or muscle stretching exercises, especially if participants do not have any other weekly exercise.)
